I made it to New Orleans
Stock Car Racing History
I just went old school and bought a fedora.
It's about time!
I've been staying at haunted hotels across the way (Tutwiler Hotel in Birmingham and the Myrtle Plantation in St. Francisville) and I'm finally at the Olivier House in NOLA.
On the way to Birmingham we passed Talladega so that was pretty cool!
Yup...she's not looking good.
I gotta ask the dude that maintains this joint if I can have a race here with some friends
As of today, I am an official member of Cardinale Motorsports

Robert, keep scouring Raeford. There's supposed to be another track called "B&S Speedway"
As a matter of fact, there was another Fayetteville Speedway that ran in 1937. Could this one be the 1948 track and the one by the ballpark be the one from 1937?
Did you check the Mossy Oak track?
That's awesome! It looked like an outline of a road course in the 1964 aerial
Robert, go to Mossy Oak Circle in Raeford. I think there was a track there too. Plainly visible in the 2003 Google Earth aerial.
