Earl Ross has passed away
General
RIP Earl Ross... a ground-breaking individual in NASCAR.
"Having watched that video with which Johnny chose to punish us, I am surprised the show would allow such idiotic comments to be made public about one of their stars (NOT MIKEY). I will repeat what I said earlier in different words: Michael Waltrip is a disgrace to humanity."
I'll take it a step further. Mikey is not a human at all. He has the face of a Talosian and the brain cells of Marvin the Martian. I am permanently scarred from watching that video.
I think Mikey needs some of this to clean up that mouth of his in addition to his already pathetic act.
Nevertheless, the rounding of numbers to half miles causes a lot of needless fuel races. You remember me pointing that out in the earlier discussion how the tracks that are actually longer tend to see more fuel races because the drivers are actually running more miles than they think they are.
The plot thickens: http://www.racer.com/north-american-racing/item/117510-report-nashville-superspeedway-sale-delayed-again
The claim according to this article is that "layout is no good" because of the hybrid shape, and NeXovation claims that is impossible to build an oval that works for both open-wheel cars and stock cars. I say this knowing that Pocono, Iowa, Texas, and Watkins Glen all are laughing, amongst other tracks that have had both IndyCar and NASCAR AND put on a good show.
And here's your hosts... Abbott and Costello!
But seriously, how has Dover Motorsports not just given up? If this was a house, the deal would have been ended after the second postponement.
It's really disappointing... almost no NNS races can get a crowd anymore because the Cup guys can't be beaten. Races like the Richmond Busch Series race used to bring the superspeedway (Cup) drivers into an on track battle with the short track (Busch) drivers.
I am envious of such a deck of cards.
I'm offended... Tim should be on a King!
Of course, if Danica were a card, she'd be a queen of hearts since she always wants to chop another driver's head off whenever she makes a mistake.
