Pats got the MG running Better Than Ever...Expect a ton more (just like every year) Dover Originals to attend. Bobby Schlegel will be bringing the restored Alley Oop and Hellzapoppin Dragsters , plus Doc Burgess is planning on coming. Tom Blake will return all the way from Florida with his "Odd Job" 55 and we are almost sure the "Storm King" team will have their latest car ready. Never Know what to expect ...that's part of the fun. NETO-East Coast Gassers-Nendra and about 6 Alky Old Skool Funny cars already committed! .

Looking For Dover Drag Strip Racers

We've been pretty successful so far in tracking down many lost racers,cars,photos and film .But some have 'slipped' through the cracks. At our Forum are headings just for this : "Old Race Car Locator" and "Where are they Now"....Plus a bunch of other great catagories to have funwith .If You are one, or know of one ,or have any Dover Info ....register on the Forum and hook up with over 825 'Old Dover Farts' with over 2200 posts ! To date we have rescued over 4000 Dover Racing photos and lots of original film. Our 2nd Annual Nostalgia Drags is coming up at Island....a perfect place to meet & Greet .

Gathered from 21 Private Collections and converted from old 35 mm. negitives, color slides and scanned from actual donated private photo albums.When we started the project to convert all over to a computer viewable CD that could be HOME used and editted ...Little did we imagine the scoop of the Saved Historical images .The data is so large , we resorted to a DVD to handle it all. Now available at the store page at www.doverdragstrip.com . Rave comments coming in from all over the counrty. Covering Dover from 1961 through the 70's ...the cars are Amazing . All the legends Too ,that Appeared at Dover...Garlits ,Ivo, Kalitta,Flynn, Leal, Arfons, Sox, Gasser Greats, Funny's, Fuelers .

AS A Christmas Present to our Now Almost 690 Dover Forum Guys ...We Uploaded about 500 More rescued Photos from newly Donated Collections to Our ODF Premium Members Galleries .Some included are High Quality Color Slides never seen since 1964 ! Also Loaded A Link to A Fantastic 43 minute "walk-around " Video produced by a Forum Member At our Nostalgia Drags. Differant from most event videos ,as It follows Dover Veteran Bill Casey as he tours the pits and Staging lanes hooking up with all his Old Racing Buddies.Very Good perspective
