I've got 2 1:64 scale Ertl cars of Richard Petty. One was supposed to be the 1980 Caprice and the other the 1981 Buick. The Caprice looked like it had monster truck tires on the thing. But I still have them both and in a display cabinet.
I think I've got one of DW's Gatorade car as the Caprice too. "Dolly"
Guessing 88 is next - though the felon should have an easier time replacing dollars on Dale Jr's car than Smoke and his felon co-owner will on the 39.

With 2 of 3 of those fellers no longer with us, I sure would like to know from Holmer if any Schaefer was consumed at the Boot Hill as that system was brainstormed. In the early 70s, the brand was still near the top of the heap.

While combing through Google News Archive tonight, I stumbled across this neat article from the May 5, 1962 issue of [ The Spartanburg Herald ]. I don't think I've seen this article posted here before. If you click the link to view the paper's article, right below this one is a neat little write-up about Red Myler who was discussed here recently.
Still learning of course. But if he pulls a stunt like that next year in Cup, someone will flip him into Lake Lloyd!
