I have raced against Lee Petty, Buck Baker, Fireball Roberts, Curtis Turner, Joe Weatherly and many more ( they all beat the hell out of me),and I didn't realize at that time just how much of a privaledge it was to have done this.
I found another little bit of old 8mm film. I don't know the track.

By the looks of the Red Clay I would think it was Johnson County Race Track.
It was owned by Percy Flowers, one of the largest bootleggers in Eastern North Carolina.
This was an Outlaw Track.
