I Attended the June Race in Greensboro. The one that Reynolds was killed. I'll never forget it, because Ralph Ligorie went to the car owner and while wiping the blood from the seat begged him to let him finish the race. We all were a little crazy back then!

Back then I was fairly fast at running. 10.3 100 yard dash, but it handled real well in BG's flat corners.
He didn't move over for Curtis Turner and was knocked into the Field House.

The restored 39 Ford Flathead that Bill Blair ( I assume his Son or Grandson) drove was equiped with a Movie Camera and Mic.
I enlarged the screen to Full and turned up the sound.
It was like I was sitting in a coupe in 1951.
I was in Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I was financhally able to Restore a Coupe and re-live it it for real.
