NASCAR's Rule Changed?
General
I can remember in the late 40s and early 50s you had to have a valid drivers license. That was one of the reasons that some of the driver raced in the Dixie Sportsman Circut.

I'm 83 and I use the internet!
In my opinion there are not enough of us "old folks" to make a RR Mag break even.
I can remember when Fonty had the nerve to wear Bermuda Shorts at the Race Track.
It was thought to be unmanly to wear any thing but Coveralls or Overalls back in the early 50s.
I understand what Richard is going through. Two and one half years ago my wife had her first Stroke and has had two more since then.
My Prayers are with the Pettys.
I always had that same dream, but never had the money. Did build a large Slot Car Track in the 60s and operated it at a profit.
ED Sanseverino.
I had forgot how crazy it was starting 60 some of those old cars at one time. We were lucky that more of us didn't get killed. Some of these cars were completly demolished. I can remember having a car explode(presurized fuel tank)at Champion Raceway Fayetteville NC and a 36 Ford I crawled out of at Raleigh NC that was destroyed. I'll be 83 this month and lucky to be alive.
