Films Of A Few Early Tracks Of NASCAR
Stock Car Racing History
Thanks for posting
This is the same basic story that I have told for almost 20 years and those that were around in those days would agree but the younger generation would look at me as though I were crazy. So go for it LR and I can't wait to get my copy of the book.I have always said if not for Raymond and a couple of others their would be no NASCAR also if RJR had not came along when they did there would be no NASCAR.
If that came from Bill Jr it was probably meant as an insult but should be taken as a compliment.
If Dodge now puts all its support of the only team left then maybe he could catch a break and get competitive. Robby has had a few glimmers of light when he had some money to spend so who knows this could be the break that he needs to be the only cup dodge left.
I can still taste them after 20 years. Wow what a mess I could make with that sandwich.
Dave loved listening to the broadcast. One name that did not come up and it to was their rookie year. And this person was in Daytona celebrating their 50th Daytona 500 race. Linda Vaughn...
I agree with both of you but I am afraid you would go hungry from the drawings that would sell of those two. I can think of many better ways to blow money or maybe I could buy one to put in the out house to shoo the fly's. Sorry Jeff....
You are bringing some pleasant memories of some fine men that serviced the sport with little or no fan fair. Earl was also a fine card player.Mose was all ways known as Mr. Moog a very polite and always on the move to help another competitor. There was another guy his name was Jim ??? he and John Hooker ran the STP deal for Andy the first few years. Both were good fellows as I remember. Giving out STP and keep cool as well as all the t-shirts you could wear out on any given week end.
I hope to be listening Tim will be packing for Daytona to go and receive my Raymond Parks award on Thursday night. If I get shocked, insulted, or angry I will tell them about it in Daytona. Then they to will know to be listening the next Tuesday to the Legendtorial on RR.
