Pal Parker came to our Old Timers Banquet and done a slide show for us. That was one of the best shows we have ever had. I never heard from him again and don't know what ever became of him.Nice guy and very good work.Very talented man and seems he had his son helping him.

If big Bill was around it would still be a sport first and business second. It also would still be fun. Big Bill is what is needed back in the sport today, which means "common sense" just my opinion. Bill always wanted to please the fans then drivers, then promoters not himself then drivers then promoters then the fan as it is today. Oh I forgot today TV is at the top of the list because the give them so much money.
I hope to be pulling up my driveway at home when he is singing and we will be unpacking from our trip to Daytona as they sing the National Anthem and my big but will hit the recliner as they take the green flag. But no I will not buy the $164.00 ticket I can see better on the 55 inch screen in the living room dont have to dodge beer cans and chicken bones nor the extra wide loads next to me and gladly will not sit in traffic for hours waiting to get on the highway. That recliner looks better and better. I do look forward however to seeing some friends in Daytona that I don't get to see elsewhere.

NO award is to big for two of the hardest working folks in motor sports. Joe and Ruth is what all broadcasters want to be. They are simply put the BEST. Congratulations Joe & Ruth and a heartfelt thanks for what you continue to do for our sport.
Just talked with Bobby and Judy is back home and resting and hopes that she will be out and about soon. He does want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers and was very sorry that he missed the Legends Helping Legends event.We need to continue to remember Bobby & Judy in your prayers daily.
Legend I was told that if you don't learn something new each day that you are not doing much.I find that to be true of course with me and my memory I forget as quick as I learn so go figure....
