Tim as a member of Racers Reunion I had a blast from the time I unloaded ol #17 at Memory Lane , to the Picking and a grinnin at the motel and the brunch at Bob Evans to the final comments of Jabe Thomas, What a great historical day it was, Jeff, Dustin and yourself were just out of this world everyone had a great day and I am proud to have been just a small part of it. See you soon !!!

Cody you are a true race fan and a very smart young man. That said had NASCAR and it string of puppets really wanted to honor the history of racing then the first induction would have started with 50 inductees . They could have had 10 for each decade and fans would have been more receptive to the HOF. And then dropped 5 spots per year until you get to 20 spots. They then could get some of the pioneers in the HOF instead they chose to go with politics and money and you see where that has gotten them.At the rate they are going now the city of Charlotte will kick them out in less than 5 years and open a indoor zoo there.

Ditto only watched twenty laps and had enough toward the end of the show and went to work on the #17 Mercury and to watch the grass grow. Even that was more exiting than the race. Hope it will improve today.

I'm afraid that Harvicks daddy don't send the kind of money to Daytona that Hamlins does from Japan to Daytona. So I think Harvick will end up with the short end of the stick. As I have said politics and money !!

Stock Car Racing History

That is the Richard Childress I know and admire. He is a hard man to get in touch with at times but he has not forgot where he came from as many others have and will help in most circumstances. He has been in Morgans shoes many times and now he is willing to help his friend out. To me that is nothing but first class. He also has helped many causes with out getting due credit and ask for none in return. I am proud to call him a friend of some 40 years and a supporter of the Old Timers Racing Club and many of it's members. He has always been just a phone call away. For that I am thankfull.
