Fonty Flocks 37 Ford

There were 2 different Al Dykes cars that Fonty Flock drove, at least that I am aware of. The 39 Ford Standard coupe is the one I have seen most of. But there are at least two photos of him in a 37 Ford coupe, one at Langhorn with him standing beside the open door and another 3/4 drivers side view with him also beside the car. My question is, does anyone know what all of the writing on the rear quarter panel of the 37 coupe says? I get owned by Dobe Powe? Does anyone know the rest of the last name?

I would have to go back to the Ford Flathead. From what I can gather looking at old racing papers and photos, despite Big Bill France driving a Hollywood Ghrame, most of those prewar beach races were won by Flathead Fords. Ed Samples the first national champion of what would become NASCAR was driving 37-39 Fords. Raymond Parks team cars driven by Bob and Fonty Flock were Flatheads.
