Hey I'm sorry to hear about Bill.I'm actually at Myrtle Beach Speedway checking my e-mail learning of this. I worked for him when I was in high school and afterwards in the early to mid 80's. Traveled with him, Barbara, Curtis, Dag, Harry, Desi, Frank, Dean, and all the rest of his family and crew. It was the time of my life in my growing up years and loved every minute of it. I thought it was the grandest thing to get to get into all the tracks, see the drivers (all of my heros), go out to eat and have some of the stars of the time eating at the same place and actually get paid for it! . He taught me a lot about the business side of racing and a lot about LIFE! He was a straight shooter and respected by many including me.
