A Treasure That Must Be Shared - Ray Evernham's Gift

General

Patty---not everyone has the pleasure of seeing the world through the eyes of a special (as you) person----but people in our great sport are mostly very passionate to the needs of our little ones.

THE 100th WIN FOR RICHARD CHILDRESS by a driver thats

General

It is almost like being in a serious relationship with someone already spoken for. You can go out, have fun,get intimate, but be careful of what might sneak up on your blind side.

Ole Brain boy has created a type of racing that unlike any other,at least on the two tracks that cause the sound barrier to pay attention.

Remember back, way back, when a big ole Plymouth,Dodge,Ford or even Chevy would cock their rear up high and take on the big boys at the super speedways? They had a flat nose and a high tail and big ole wide tires, about 9 inches wide that were kin to grip but not quite good enough. Tires controlled speed along with that flat grill and cubic inches were sufficient to exceed the limits of grip . That was racing because it took driver control to be able to kiss the trophy----Girl. I know Im dreaming but the method is still there to make racing fun and affordable. It would worry Chad to death and Booty would be going in circles trying to figure out a way to get more speed. Ok Ive vented and next week we can watch the boys bend the fenders in at Martinsville and maybe take a fender off on a couple of cars to look like it was 19 sixty something again and maybe the windshields will pass the test on color denisity.

Michael Waltrip Racing Windshields Confiscated at Talladega

General

Does this mean that you be caught cheating if you can see better than another competitor?? Todays windshields are so thin to start with they crack on their own. I cant see the gain thats got Brians hair ruffled.

What about the slick tape that is being applied to the front and rear bumpers of the cars,is this illegal too?? My opinion but I think there is going to be a change in the specs across the board for next year.

never said you did--only said he smacked the wall --and he isnt my pick to be stage material --drive?? yes he can and has always had good eq and a very talented Crew Chief-- but he has played with the ball long enough, time to let another have a go at it... but wait, isnt there about 6 others working on dethroning him this season??? Are any of them to your liking???

Bumper tag its shows he is still human and not on a pedestal. he smacked the wall at a pretty good clip.

You can well bet he is sore in spots he had forgotten about. He is not my favorite driver but dont want no physical harm to come to him in a race car.. Loosing Dan Wheldon Sun did not set to well with me after other drivers voiced concern over the speeds there. Yes others cheer when another driver falls out of a race but I do not think you hear much noise if they have to cut him out or haul him to the hospital. Im almost stepping on my toes here so I will hush (as Tim tells me to do so much)
