ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LINE

Stock Car Racing History

IN KYLES WORDS'

I lost my cool, no doubt about it. I've been wrecked four weeks in a row, and I've had enough of it, and I retaliated,'' Busch said by his hauler after the wreck Friday night. ''So it's certainly my fault for doing that. If everybody wants to say, 'Hornaday is racing for a championship, roll over,' that's not my fashion. That's not anybody else's fashion out here.''

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LINE

Stock Car Racing History

Ok now Mike has said the line has been crossed----and now we know where the line exists----Kinda---- Have you ever crossed the line ????? If you say no then you arent a serious racer.. Jeff has----Tim has--Billy Biscoe has ---Dave Fulton flirted with it regular. Our beloved Dale Earnhardt straddled it numerous times. Darrell Walthorpe was another good candidate for it.

With that said how about the rest tell of your adventures with the line. I have a few myself with a few members on R/R.

AND THE BIG SHOW CONTINUES

Current NASCAR

Well as in the press conference this morning they found out just how long Nascars rope is.

Mike Helton said he would tell the drivers when they crossed the line------- WELL now we all know where the line is and how far you can fall on the other side.

As one said on R/R I HATE HIM ----that saying could lean towards every driver in the cup cars at one time or another. Some say its a low blow and a lot have called him an idiot. But one thing is still very clear----the dummy can drive and gets 110% out of his ride every race. Its his spur of the moment rages that get him in trouble---Believe thats called maturity not complete yet. Or am I wrong????

AND THE BIG SHOW CONTINUES

Current NASCAR

The trucks continued tonite to put on a great show from flag to flag. I saw no dull moments in tonites show and actually kept most every one on the edge of their seats. Even the dumb move made by Kyle kept the excitement flowing.

Then to top it off Austin Dillion has his mirror full of his younger brother in the hunt, how cool can that be!! It also looks like Kevin will go out in style winning the owners championship this year, but M A N the trucks are exciting as all get out, kinda makes you want to convert to a truck doesnt it,at least on the track anyway. Now we wait to see what the big red trailer has to say on tonite, time will tell.

Or maybe someone sees racing differently,I know there are some comments on facebook that arent very becoming to our sport but thats racing---------------------------------------or is it??

THE PAPERCLIP held together again today

Local and Regional Short Track Racing

Todays race proved what real racing can still be like. Seems to me the big tracks cant hold the like to the boys racing they out there having fun. Those silly blinding speeds at Daga and Daytona cant hold a light to the racing short track style.

Todays race showed whats its like. Look at the different leaders in todays race. Did you see any two car drafting? How about a runaway train? Didnt think so, this is racing as its supposed to be. No rum dum laps of 25 or more where nothing happens. The good ole boys have time to get plastered between the short periods of cleanup after a wreck or caution s. From the drop of the green to the checerd flag it was non stop excitement.

Or maybe I was watching a replay of years ago,----what do you think!!!!!

RACING AT MARTINSVILLE was like the racing of the past

General

There was plenty of contact on the cool down lap with Buescher and Bodine spinning each other and Peters and Gaughan arguing on pit road after the race.

RACING AT MARTINSVILLE was like the racing of the past

General

Saturdays Truck race was like watching racing from the 60's and 70's. There was action on each lap from the front to the back.

The old guys were arguing over the middle of the pack positions and those young guns were dicing it up every lap trying to outdo the other on each curve. I dont think there was a straight fender on anybodys truck at the end. They were even bumping and pushing in the pits after the race was over. If you didnt see it you missed the show of the weekend.

At this rate Trucks are going to be the drawing card for racing. I cant see where anyone would want anything better than this race,or do you??
