A piece of History here

Historic Speedways and Ghost Tracks

For the ones that ran high you probably grinned when you ran over this,for the ones that played low you probably looked up there and said Thats to far up there to run.
Well now you can rest assured you can come look at it and even rub it or kiss it if thats your bag----but the thrill of it is where it came from. It was there in front of you when the green flag dropped and you saw it before you dove into turn one,or maybe you went high after the checkered flag and eased over it saying thank you.
Some slid over it into the guardrail and a few rolled over it and didnt touch it.

This piece of History will be in our Racers Reunion Corner of the shop with other relics of past times.

Oh yeah the smaller piece ,well it came from a little track down in florida just off I/95

Anybody know the location of where that race was held that was on tv sunday

Current NASCAR

There was a race on tv sunday but it didnt look like any major race. 1) stands were not even full2) the cars were wrecking from the start3) cars were having troubles galore4) wasnt a race like nascar usually broadcastsAnyone have an answer to this ??

Oh no I smell duck soup in the kitchen and Mrs Ann aint a cooking--- Tim ole boy settle down or you just may have a plugwire come off in the middle of showering. That would make you go around sputtering. You know like when the duck cant make contact with people Tim Leeming said:

I have been trying to give NASCAR every benefit of the doubt, even after the debacle caused by Duck Boy at Atlanta in March, but this is utterly and downright stupid. A fine of $25,000.00?????
Ask some of the guys who had their cars destroyed by the immature actions of the featherbrain how much it is going to cost to fix their cars. Even further, the sad part is that Duck Boy will always believe he is above reproach, above the rules, and above it all. It would almost be worth filing suit against NASCAR to have them explain why Brad was penalized 60 points. What did he do? What action did he initiate that wasn't the usual "move the car out of the way" like he did Duck Boy coming out of turn 2. I am totally incensed over this inability of NASCAR to find one individual within the entire organization who has enough intelligence and guts to make appropriate and just rulings. Frankly, this angers me!
Time for me to hush. I'm about to get out of hand. If I had an AFLAC policy, I would cancel that sucker right now.

Ok it is almost like logging onto a movie theater information page. You see the name then you look and see the coming events showing on the left and the playing now in the middle, oh and even a comment section on the right. Go click and you can pick what you want or where you wish to go. Confused?,heck just click and I bet you will enjoy where you land.
This I like,sure makes finding things a lot easier and faster too. I think Jeff Gilder spent a late night or two designing this new awsome site, What do you think????

Daytona International Speedway

The few that roared under this flag stand on the beach is getting fewer every year. You now have to go inside to walk under it, or if you are still a kid at heart you can race under it still, -------S L O W E L Y
