You never know who you will meet at a race track, sometimes important people, sometimes not to important, but either way they must be race fans or why would the be hanging around a racetrack that isnt putting on a race, in fact the track surface is actually getting torn up in spots where damage is found and even a batch plant is being set up outside turn 2 for the repaving operation.Its been a long time since I saw Bill France at the track but doggone it I swear I saw a ghost of him over at the Winners circle. We had just gotten over there from walking over to the garage area when I saw the fleeting glance of him, and to beat all his wife was beside him.Dont know for sure but with ole DW hanging around too you better not be surprised who you may think you see

Roni this prayer was on all of the grand national and late model sportsmen cars in the early 70's and most modified cars when they ran with the grand nationals. Bro. Bill would come around and give each car one at every race that didn't have one and most drivers were happy to get them and put them on thier dashes. Thanks for reminding us about this prayer. Without people like the real "Jimmy Johnson" Just think of what life would be like. True he is a guy with a Nice Motor Home and a new trailer with usually a toy inside most people would drool over just to touch or better yet set inside of it. He goes to races most folks only get to listen to or dream of.But the real kicker is of what he does, He spreads the word of what the old school guys did and has the power to tell in detail what that museum in Mooresville NC has in it. Also he invites young and old to the wonderful site now known as STOCKCAR RACERS REUNION.Think what you may be doing if you didnt have your daily dose of R/R.Jimmy Johnson is for sure a traveling ambasador to the site and I back him 100% in his ventures.You know if the fact was really know I would bet he is Jack Approved too...
