The little rat did it,he aint even dry behind the ears yet B U T he won the Natiowide Championship in style. Watching him on the in car camera he was o so smooth and made moves only needed to advance. Next week he will go for the win seeing he has nothing to lose.
This I found out late last night. they wouldnt tell much , but said that all Dave can eat are ice chips and the hospital will not release him until he can take solid food. Given the nature of the surgery, that is understandable. The doctor needs to know that his system is processing food. That is my assumption from experience with my brother in law who had the same problem. GO DAVE ! !

I saw something in the latter stages of the race thats puzzling.
A car lost its rear wheel hub and spindle and it was said that to much camber was in the left rear. To do that you have to bend the rear housing right? Along with that how do you flex an axle that much without it breaking. Also doing that doesnt it put stress on the axle bearing? and cause a binding effect in the rear? Off setting the rear so car wants to turn into the turn on its own is one thing but this? Explain this to me and to others -- I know Im not the only one !!

Following the Phoenix race, four drivers will advance to the Championship Round at Homestead-Miami Speedway . Each advancing driver will see their point total reset to 5,000 and the driver that finishes the highest among the four finalists will win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.
The four drivers that would advance to Homestead as of now would be: Logano, Hamlin, Newman and Gordon.
The four drivers that would be eliminated would be: Kenseth, Edwards, Keselowski and Harvick.
Now to figure out the maybes coming from Nascar over the discussion on pit road after the race

If you saw the end of the race then you saw the tussle but did you see the 4 itop players in the chase? A non winner gets more real as we go to Phoenix. It could well be Ryan or even Denny.
