“I’m not my grandpa or my (great) uncle Bobby,” Allison said, “but if I’m half as good as they were, I’ll be good.”

A happy Grandpa today after the FIRST win for Justin
There may still be hope for racing yet ..
And the legency continues. Justin Allison grandson of Donnie Allison took his first of many wins ,he hopes, today in Pocono in the ARCA series. Davey won 8 before advancing into Nascar so it must be a family thing. Rain,wrecks and a few cautions tested his nerves but he did it Allison style.
Ok now put your thinking cap on, see anyone familiar here? no peeking now

After reading a few of the posts on the older tracks,pre 50, you ever wonder how they set up those cars? straight axles, wishbone front ends,single spring front and rear,skinny tires and top top it all off a frame that flexed with every turn...
Was the frame smart to know how much to flex at each turn? Look at this front runner from a few years ago,all 4 tires look the same size and dont look under pressure. No front bumper needed as long as you out front and safety hubs ? No roll bars and bet you the driver door opens too..
Anyone know the car? how about the track. Its a deep south track too,
As most of you know Jim Streeter is a veteran of many races and I wanted all of you to start this afternoon wishing him a Happy Birthday for Tuesday . He is definitely one of my heros at 84 so without further ado here goes;
Sounds like the radio chatter from the pit boss must have either didnt say clear or either one took the air off the other creating a vortex effect that ole DW describes so diligently . But if you remember in previous shots on TV showing Danica behind the controls,she doesnt have her head set on. So now your job for today is : was there really a drift show at the airport or was this a new tactic by NASCAR to bring teams closer to arguing among themselves. This could be a start of the new alliance led by Humpy boy...........
Tim you did not read the fine print on the instructions, look closely at the disclaimer where it says product should be used along with
Hope you feel better fast now Sir
