It took Richmond 3 days to Run 125 Miles in 1964 - My 1st race

Very Nice Dave! Thanks!
Very Nice Dave! Thanks!
Wonder what ol' Willie Quatlebaum will score??
Forgive me for saying this....but I kinda liked it. Pretty decent parody of Smokey and the Bandit (reminds me I need to watch it soon!) of this one and the next one is where the cop goes under the trailer and the top comes off.
Anyway, I guess 'GreaseMonkey' was the 'original' digger....
Dang, it's been a few years, since Bill Elliott has won a race....when Chase gets to the top, they just might question our hertiage of Dawsonville? Maybe I'll be there in time to stop that! lol
The "Darkside"?!?!?! What are you drinking?!?! lol
But more seriously, I was surprised. I figured that Roger had all the support from corporate, being the only full time, good team in the top three series. Either he got mad at Dodge, or Ford is greedy for another Ford owner that's name is NOT Jack Roush.
Unless Petty goes back, I wouldn't want Robby Gordon and Brian Keslowski representing mymanufacturer. But still, I figured Roger would've had all the backing from he needed. Since he was basically the only full-time Dodge team in Nascar's top three series. Either he got mad at Dodge, or Ford offered him WAY more money to come back (probably the last one)But, this will be the first full-team that's NOT owned by Jack Roush, and I don't have to complain about the car either!
I think your figures are a little old Johnny....I know for a FACT that everything you listed is WAYYYYYYY more. The Elliott's told me that a set of Good-Year tires for their K&N car (remember, just ONE set) is $1,200!!! I also know that the helmets can go for $5k plus.....
This is just one of the many reasons that I'm an announcer and not a driver...
Like I said during Tuesday's show, I'm not picking simply because it's who ever can sneek through and not get hit. The last two days have been a wreck-fest, and on both races, it was one who stayed in front for the last handful of laps and hang on, and the other came from 11th or 12th (something like that) to first in the final turn to win it. I'm just afraid to pick and I'm glad I'm not betting.
I'm gonna post alot, but these are some of my favorites.....

The reason Bill qualified so bad was because he was driving a dang toyota. Last year when he drove the 500 for James Finch, he qualified 5th and finished 12th. He was in the lead pack with two to go. I'm just waiting to see what he can do with the Walmart car in July....
