ONCE APON A TIME THERE WAS THIS KID THAT-------------------

Current NASCAR

Congratulations to the Wood Brothers and Trevor. He ran up front all day. There were several dark horses that looked good in this event.

It will be interesting to see how this season plays out for Trevor since he is signed up for NNS points. One would think that a sponsor or two will take a good lookat this team after sunday's win.

SO IF HE IS FASTER THAN YOU WHAT DO YOU DO

Current NASCAR

If you lose a car or an engine you go to the back, transmission als if I am not mistaken Daytona is the only race of the year where they let you change an engine with no penalty after the qualifying races. I could be mistaken about the engine rule but J.C. Hayes has the answers and of course Jayski.

Bud Shootout? More like Dancing with the Stars!

General

What would we rather have ? A 30 car pack waiting for a mistake or seperation that puts it in the drivers hands ?

They can bunch up if wanted but NASCAR has the answer and that it to make these machines overheat if in a draft for more than two laps.

I liked saturday's race (watched in sunday) then found out that NASCAR is seeing too much speed in the draft (206mph). Now they are going to mess with the front grill and the cooling systems to limit a tight draft. The difference between qualifying speeds and race speeds is more than I can recall for a looooong time.

It is back to square 1 and that is NASCAR's manipulation of what these cars do on the track. Daytona used to be about who could get the most out of what they had. Daytona used to really mean something to me but not anylonger.

I like Bumper's point of view and this is what makes it good right here. All opinons and ideas respected and listened to. Sound's like an American thing does it not ?

REMEMBER?

Stock Car Racing History

Well Tim, You are a lucky man to have witnessed history at Daytona. 1964 changed the face of racing for sure. What a day that must have been seeingRichard's blue Plymouth smoke the field.

Hopefully this year we will see the 43 find the checkered flag more than once .....

Are your pictures being sold on Ebay????

General

Andy, EBAY can do something about as they having ratings for sellers and buyerson the site. In addition if they are water marked it can become a legal issue. You can do something about it.

I am not sure there is a big market for actual photographs when they can be saved from the net to our hard drives with a couple of clicks.Whom ever is flim flamming on EBAY will eventually get shut down.

Today I had a phone conversation with JC Hayes and we had a brief discussion about this and about courtesy. We think that being thoughtful and courteous of others work is importantand also understand the generosity of othersIn my opinion as time goes by Racers Reunion has become a legitimate archive for racing history in more ways than one. JC and myself agree that RR is the best out there bar none.

We do not need EBAY when the history of racing is right here.
