Wow!This has got to be about something more than just theft. Sounds strange.

Is Jeff Gordon Fer it? Agin it? or Whichever Way the Money $$$ Blows?

General

Dave, this was a great observation. I usually tune them out when "pitchman" comes out. After this read and giving it some thought, although I never met Paul Sawyer I can say that I highly respect and love his definition of the driver dance.

Barney Retired

Administrative

Jeff,I always wondered why you chose oleBarney. Your line of thinking was spot on for me. The first time I saw that picture beside my profile I knew one of two things, either they want my picture or they want me gone. I know I am a little crazy but I am notCrazy enough to impersonate Barney Fife for long.New one looks nice though, good job

RCR Crewmen Fined & Suspended; Drivers Scott & Piquet, Jr. & Crew Chiefs on Probation

Current NASCAR

If any one learns anything fromthis itwould probably be the 2 crewmembers.......If RCR does not pay their fine (and we dont know how that will go) thenthey are hurting! The fine would not have hurt Piquet or Scott to near the extent that it will these two guys...Hope it was worth it for 'em cuz it is gonna hurt.

Ifa racing body istruly gonna do the ''BOYS HAVE AT'' style of racing and dealing with the aftermath then you had better be out of the NASCAR banner because NASCAR does not have an inkling of the true ''boys have at '' mentality of racing....That style of racing lends itself to the competitors racing ''gonads'' to the wall and then taking care of the aftermath for themselves by themselves at that time, they then return the next Saturday nite and do it all over again all in the name of racing and WITHOUT big brother andit's roving band of hinchmen.

Post-race altercation leads to police holding two males in custody

Stock Car Racing History

Piquet was probably trying to connect the kick a little higher up but his legs are too darned short. It seems that His physical stature doesn't lend itself to toe toe knockdowns. He may need to check into a CW permit!

Racing History Minute - April 21, 1962

Stock Car Racing History

Dave, Tim,

I moved from N.C. to the Florence area in 1995...Frank Sessoms was running Late Models at I-95 speedway in Timmonsville and was still winning...He was in his 70's. He continued driving on into this century and up until he passed a couple of years back...At the time that I first ran into Frank Sessoms the elder Late Model Driver it was unbeknownst to me that he had competed in the fisrt Southern 500 and was still going strong.

Frank was a pioneer as stated and was a well respected member and driver in this community...Was a fine man that drove 'em hard to the very end. Tim you are right in that alot of people would not know about Frank but to those thatdid know of himknow that he was hardcore!
