Quarter midget racer
General
Thanks, Dave, Mike is humbled by what he has accomplished, he knows it can go away as easy as it has started.
Thank You, Patty, I am very proud of him, he is very focused on his school work because he knows it will decide if he races or stays home. One thing i did learn from a 6year old is that it's always the crew chief's fault if the car is not fast enough.
My son Mike is almost done with his first year in Quarter midgets, SO far he has won the Firecracker 30 race and won the Twin 20's race 3 times. Went to Pocono for a race, we never raced there before and he won the first feature coming from 4th position and came in second in the 2nd feature.
At West End Quarter Midget Club he has 8 feature wins and at Lehigh Valley Quarter Midget Club 1 feature win.
If anyone wants to check out Mikes race club go to WEQMRA.COM , check out the Victory Lane Pictures ours is the 4th one down from the top. Green Car, I have an 88 hat on. Pictures change week to week.
Thanks, Pete
Be careful NOW !!!!!!! He's already on somebody's radar with that record. He sounds like a natural. I know you are very proud of him Peter. I wish your son much success & I hope you can keep the deal going long as possible before the promoters ( read self promoters not track promoters , although some of them can be pretty scary) try & get involved. Good Luck to you all & GOD's Speed !!!!!!!!!!!! I shall be rooting for him & following his career. I am now an Official Fan. What's his name & Number?
Wow! What a start! Obviouisly some talent there!
