Enjoyed your post, Chase. One year after Marty Robbins' death, they had Ronnie Robbins play at the Talladega Grand Marshal's dinner. My wife and I both agreed he put on a terrific show and unless you were looking directly at him, you thought it was Marty singing.
Dennis, I really enjoyed this page of media and pr rep photos of so many folk I worked with years later.
I'm sure a lot of folks remember Kevin Harvick being suspended from driving a Cup race after antics during a Truck Series event.
How many of you remember when Jack Ingram's temper at a weekly event got him suspended by NASCAR for two races of the 1986 Busch Series, resulting in the Championship being won by Larry Pearson.
Several years ago our RR member Jay Coker posted the video below on YouTube. I had completely forgotten this.
Woody, you have to remember that back in 1973 when I took my wife to her first Cup race - at Rockingham - she actually pulled for DW to win ROY over Lennie, declaring the future Jaws to be "good looking" - her words not mine! We had a divided house until I started sponsoring Earnhardt and Joyce joined in, lol.
OK, I'll just go back to cheering for Lennie as I always did and leave Legend to handle the sharks!
Folks, if this video has been posted previously, please accept my apology. There was no way I could let Tim Leeming miss this clip if he hadn't seen it.
I recall Charlie's GT / Grand American #10 Camaros when I saw them as being very pale yellow. This " may" be a Charlie Blanton car at Vermont's Catamount Stadium in 1970:

Maybe Leon is congratulating you for buying American. This is the label in the tee shirt, isn't it?
