Dennis, do you know what year the April 14 Sanford clipping is from? When I was going over to Sanford on Friday nights in 1968, 1969 & 1970 Glen nearly always won the Late Model feature. By the way, the photo of Glen's car was taken near the front stretch Start/finish line of Wilson County Speedway. You can see the Wilson concession stand tucked in under the seats. That grandstand was built on top of a major Wilson County Fairgrounds exhibit building that ran most of the length of the front stretch.

Hickory's advertising didn't lack any gall, claiming itself as the track that invented the power slide. Sorry Hickory, drivers were power sliding long before Hickory was a twinkle in its builder's eye.

I Apologize to Sally Field and to listerners to Tuesday Night's show

I actually tried to listen to the show on my new little tablet from my recliner last night, but couldn't get the radio feed on this Android device.

I, too, liked both ladies. I actually looked up Sally Fields yesterday and discovered she and Patty Duke were born just a month apart. R.I.P. Patty.
