lol....Bobby you made me remember the time I slept on the hood of the truck leaning back on the windshield just to be one of the first in line. I spent my motel money for new tires....great time tho...

great idea and wonderful for racing but I don't believe I will see a cup race in my lifetime at a dirt track so far removed from a major city. we can certainly dream and wish it would happen as that would be a throw back to a more exciting time for sure.
Since I haven't seen any of the fans comments I wont and cant comment to what was saidbut with that said, what I see in the video isn't racing but "you broke my toy so I'll break yours" ......add me to the 58%....
my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
my condolences to his friends and family as well as his many fans....
sounds like a wonderful day Richard. memories like that are ones we keep forever.
great personal story about a proud and great driver, thank you for posting it.
Dennis, There is a report from the 1969 Bama 400 on Sept. 13th that shows Butch Harbin drove a 1969 Camaro ,started 32 and finished 34th after blowing an engine on the 18th lap.
Billy, the image of Tim in a xxxl bright orange jump suit carrying a stick w/ a nail in the end picking up slurpee cup's is etched in my mind now. lol....thanks.
Devin, There are 5 locations in and around Charlotte and the closest to the HOF prob. being on Albemarle Rd. Maybe on the 16th of August we could talk Dave and his highness, er, the Legend into taking us there. I'm sure with those two our Slurpee's would be free. We could swing by the Southpark mall on the way and visit the cheese cake factory....
