I was at this race. This was just after a caution and we had pitted the Hylton car and I was on my way to refill the gas cans for the next stop. The yellow came out while I was still in line for gas and I wondered what I should do, return with the little bit of gas in the cans or stand and wait till the cans were filled. I waited for the gas then raced back to the pit stall only to see the #3 of Ricky Rudd come down pit road with the roof crushed and the Hylton car leaving the pits with additional no gas. Guess I should have returned so the cars could have been topped off with the little gas we had.
