Belonged to Cal Johnson of Ashland Va. He had many of his old race cars still in his back yard.

Cal Johnson passed away, I think it was 2007. He like on the other side of the interstate from Kings Dominion. I sure his sons have made use of the many cars in his yard. I took this photo in the mid 80's.

There was a 9-car wreck that erupted in flames during the running of a 100-lap Modified-Sportsman race at Richmond Fairground on May 20th, 1962. The cars of Gene Lovelace (#31) , and Jack Mulligan (#25) are seen here. Other drivers involved were Ken Meahl, Bob Dobyns, Johnny Roberts, and Ralph Rose. The photographer of this photo is unknown.
