HEY LEON---BE CAREFUL THERE WITH THOSE REMARKS OF TIM--HE HAS JUST GOTTEN A NEW HAT AND I WILL BET MONEY ON THAT HE DIDNT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THAT IT WONT FIT AFTER HIS HEAD SWELLS HMMMMMMM
Funny, I had just the opposite experience. When she eased up behind me and kissed me on the neck and whispered in my ear, I knew she had heard about the new series I had come up with. Using current tube frame chassis designs and dirt track style flexible plastic bodies for the new COY (Car of Yesterday), she can shine again on Labor Day just like she did in her prime. And what nearly sixty year old lady doesn't like to be wooed and told just how desirable she still is?
HA HA MAN THAT WAS A STORY FOR AFTER DARK --BUT YES SHE DOES NEED HER PRIVATE ATTENTION FROM ALL OF US-----AND IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND NO NEED TO ASK WHAT----RIGHT JERRY
Was one of the first visitors to the Joe Weatherly Stock Car Museum when it opened in '65, made may trips thereafter, saw my first Southern 500 in '67 and got my own showcase in the museum for my models around '87 or so. And that doesn't include listening to the races on the radio and watching the little two minutes of "coverage" on the local TV in the Labor Day evening news even earlier than that. Yep, me and the Lady in Black go back a long ways for sure,
