the Chase as it is
Now that Wild Thing is out of the chase do we just go on vacation and tune in after ten weeks to see how things are going to be set up in Las Vegas for the award show. Excitement will not be a factor this time because it will be a scientific experiment to see who can go farther on a tank of gas or who can short pit to gain advantage over their competitor,or tires, who needs tires.Me personally I would like to see the hustle and the hunt to outrun everybody, hope it shows but I doubt it,my opinion now lets hear yours because thats not thunder I hear around where you are .If you dont voice it your vote dont count. Any takers or will it be ---------------------------memories
For me, NASCAR hasn't been the same since we lost Alan and Davey. Somehow right about then, they went away from stock body shapes, they started with the "debris" cautions, and then the godawful chase. Oh, and the blasphemous "Top 35" rule.NASCAR, and American racing in general, has become more about the show than the sport.NASCAR no longer cares about real race fans. A real fan doesn't care if someone wins by 2 laps, a real fan doesn't care if sometimes it finishes under caution, a real fan just wants a race, no matter how that race plays out.
Now that it seems im not a lonely sole on this nascar thing and the Car Of Tin that being said i had more chills saturday when paul cranked his orange crate up or when when bob cranked the little ford 60 up and loaded the sprint car up(i got that on a clip also to share later) or when #90 cranked up and headed off down the track(this video i have already posted) just like it was going to make O N E M O R E L A P those are the type memories I will take with me forever ----------------------------------memories
