I think Bobby is well aware of this car's history. Who started the rumor that he was duped? This car began its life as a Sportsman car.....and I don't recall during this exhibition anyone duping anyone else. If in fact the car had been represented as an original to a prospetive buyer...that would be worng. That hasn't happened. Let me ask you this....whats wrong with a replica...? Do you have the original? If so...why was it not made available for the public to enjoy. I get a little bent out of shape when I hear folks knocknig the practioce of recreating these cars. If we are left to only enjoy the appearance of the originals....we wouldn't be having much enjoyment. I commend anyone who takes their time and money to make a replica of something that reminds us of our racing heritage. Mis representation is wrong...this is not.
Great picture.
