Mr. Billy Walker is still alive and well in Franklin. In mid 80s. He is good friends with my son's scoutmaster. Mr. Walker's father opened the 1st Chevy dealership in Franklin in an old firehall. I found this same picture about 2 years ago in a Fotki folder, enlarged it, and gave it to Mr. Walker. He seemed to really enjoy it & couldn't believe I'd found a pic from so long ago. Interesting that his dealership sponsored CooCoo back then. Later, the Marlins struck up a sponsorship with Cunningham Kelly Chevy in Hartsville TN - about an hour north east of Nashville. Mr. Walker later sponsored folks like DW and in mid 70s P.B. Crowell III.
