It took 263 freight cars of lumber to build New Jersey's Amatol speedway in 1920. It consisted of 7 million feet of lumber and took 180,000 pounds of nails and spikes to construct.

Amazing photo! I have seen a few shots of the town when it existed, and a map of all the buildings. This area is still undeveloped, which is unusual in NJ.
