Church Hill, Tennessee's Bill Morton began his racing career as a teenager, in the mid-1950s. Over the next 25 years, he won hundreds of races and became a dirt-track legend.

Surprisingly, that wasa different Bill Morton. Unbelievable as it seems, there were two contemporary, different, drivers named Bill Morton in Tennessee back in the 1950s-1960s.

Bill Morton that used to run Nashville passed away recently. He's a member of the Hall of Fame at the Fairgrounds.
