Dave Marcis USAC Matador

Dave Marcis assumed some of the driving responsibilities for Penske. He also competed at a race or two on USAC's stock car division races at Pocono and Milwaukee and did well there even though he was racing against unrestricted 430 cubic inch engines (and winged superbirds!) with his 366 cubic inch engine. In the 1972 race, running against these cars, he had moved up to second place about three-quarters of the way through until carburetor problems surfaced. He finished fourth. USAC cars were allowed to use a large front air dam, so the Matador had one, too. The number used was 61. Does anyone have a picture of the Matador in USAC trim?
