Some classic footage of the old beach. This time its a convertible race. Not much excitement throughout but it's nice to see this type of footage still exist...

Apparently I did not load this link right last time-so here it is again!Interesting note; Dad won the last historic convertible race in the Daytona Beach and Road Course, and Paul Goldsmith won the last hardtop the next day on the Daytona Beach and Road course. The next races were called; The Daytona 500 and were on pavement-1959. Of course I imagineall of ya'll know that-but I think it is interesting anyway! ha!
