great photo mike I love this kindo of stuff long before the impersonal rolling billboards that we have today as a kid this is what always made the racing great seeing the cars arrive out in the open and seeing them go down the road. thanks for sharing

Look at that spoiler. Believe it or not, teams used even bigger spoilers than this before rules reigned in the outragious use of plexiglass.

Wow, I drive a red F-350 just like that. I use it to pull my racecar and trailer to the racetrack.I agree with Craig, When I was growing up this was how the guys brought their racecars to the track. On flat decks like this and on open trailers. That is how my Dad brought our car to the track. I loved to see the cars on their way to race at the old Langley Speedway (British Columbia, Canada) back in the sixties and seventies.
