Right on, bro!!! Those were the good 'ole days when the factory-backed guys didn't have the complete edge. Their high horse power on dirt tracks, lots of times, got them in trouble. If they had too much horse power, they would spend more time spinning their wheels and not hooking up.

David - That is Jess Potter, me, Clell (I can't remember his last name), Herman, Brent Roberts and Jerry Elliott. The photo was taken at Smokey Mountain Raceway in Maryville, TN. All these are local guys. This was probably the night of my first Nascar win in '66. Good 'ole days.
