Randy, THANK YOU for sharing the pictures. Great memories! I can remember just about every picture you have uploaded. My uncle, cousin and myself sat every Firday night on the top row just right of the flag stand. Man what I would give for one of those dusty hot dogs from the consession stand!

Man I remember watching Billy Bishop cut his teeth on dirt and pulling that Camaro with an old Chevy panel truck. Preston pretty much owned the place until the 9 car of Chuck P. showed up or the Mustang of Charlie Blanton wheeled to the checker. Every Friday night sitting on a home made high rise in the back of a 1950 GMC truck right beside the little watering pond coming out of turn 2 where the spectators came across the track on the back stretch Actually my Dad (Dub Ruppe) ran his last laps at the speedway in about 1963. His guts and glory came in the 50's driving a micro midget. I still have all the trophies and all the memories. You have a great website and thanks for sharing your love for the sport. Super Job!
