BOWMAN GRAY RACING PREVIEW DRIVER ROSTER GROWS
Current and Past Drivers and Families Added to A Growing List
The list of Drivers and teams for the first annual “Bowman Gray Racing Preview” continues to grow daily.
Headlining the list of “current” Drivers is ten-time “Brad’s Golf Cars” Modified Champion, Tim Brown along with six-time division champ, Junior Miller. Lee Jeffreys, John Smith, Brandon Ward, Michael Clifton, Randy Butner and Ronnie Clifton will be on hand.
Defending “Yates Grading & Paving” Sportsmen division Champion, Tommy Neal leads the pack of drivers from that division. Zach Clifton, John Holleman, IV, Robbie Brewer, Michael Adams, Jimmy Johnson, Melvin “Puddin” Swisher, Billy Middleton, Gene Pack, Bill Wilder, Derek Stoltz and Kevin Neal along with others to be announced will be on tap to meet and greet the fans and sign autographs.
Derrick Rice, Brian Wall, Blake Shupe and Taylor Robbins head the list of “Q-104 New Country” Street Stocks and A.J. Sanders, Billy Cameron, Bryan Sykes, Shane Southard and Stephen Sanders lead the list of “McDowell Heating and A/C” Stadium Stock teams. As plans move forward for the event, more drivers and cars will be announced.
On the “Legends of the Madhouse” side, along with previously announced drivers Rex White, the Wood Brothers, Glen and Leonard and Jerry Cook, many of the past Bowman Gray Champions and winners will attend. Drivers with tentative plans to be here include Max Berrier, “Satch” Worley, Don Smith, Paul Radford, Johnny Johnson and Hank Thomas.
Bohn, the 2014 Modified Champion and his dad, Eddie, are bringing the Ray Evernham owned Richie Evans #61 Pinto and the #21 Modified coupe built by the Wood Brothers and driven by Sonny Hutchens and Donnie Allison. “Chocolate” Myers will also be on hand along with his #6A Sportsman car made famous by his dad, Bobby Myers.
As more of the current drivers and “Legends” sign up to attend, we will post their names and additional cars.
