This is Harvey Gene Pyles owner of the Pyles Lumber Company in my hometown (Camp Springs, Md. He sponsored Glenn Guthrie who later was the NASCAR Modified Champion in 1959.. He turn over at West Lanham Speedway in West Lanham, Md. returned to the race and came in third. The car was a very nice coupe before an Army truck could not stop in front of the lumber yard and ended it's road travel. Glenn was later the No. Va. Stock Club champ in this car too.

This in the infield, but the track was asphalt - check them asphalt tires out! Snow or truck tires? Slightly worn!
Great old Pic
