Was this car considered a modified? It's bad what ever it is.

Yep, it's just the same as the others ecept it had full sheet metal. The mods used to run a race on the road course at Daytona during Spedweeks. Since so much of the lap was on the speedway, guys started using full bodies for that race. Bobby could have just left his that way.For another example, check out the Joe Ruttman Fan Page. There you'll see a picture of his Chevy Monza Speedway Mod.

Looks like an odd mix between a Baby Grand and and a Mod. That is unique.

in 1972 I lancaster Speedway NY made all the Mods be full bodied I have pics of them it lasted only that year or maybe not even the whole season
