This is the legendary dare devil flagman and starter Chet Hames. For years, I watched Chet bring them down out of the fourth turn at Fonda and drop the green just inches from the field. The #11 is one of the Chris Drellos owned team cars (#11, 111, 111A) and the pilot Boys and Girls, is none other than one of the all time greats, Pete Corey. Pete, who built and campaigned his own cars for most of his career, took to drivin for someone else about as much as a mustang liked being saddled or the first time.
