This is a great photo. The photographer is probably either T. Taylor or Jim Crabtree. I was right there with them and trying to photograph the same thing. Too bad more people never got to witness this great finish. Richie Evans came bouncing across the finish line on three wheels to take the win. That's Geoff Bodine in the 99 and Jimmy Spencer was also involved as he was running third right behind the two. Richie's Pinto had to be towed to victory lane. Ranks right up there as one of my favorite finishes for sure.

this was the first mod race i missed at martinsville in several years. just my luck, but i didn't feel as sick as my brother-in-law who was at the race and left with a few laps to go to beat the crowd.
