Eddie Crouse, driver of 1st Flying 11 owned by Jack Tant.

Wonder where did Eddie Crouse get his Cigars? Homemade or store bought?

Looks like Ted Hairfield's "Snakebite II" #4 beside Sonny Hutchins as Kenny has pointed out...and as Troy has already corrected, the #90 car owner was Richmond's Junie Donlavey, Andy - not Zervakis.

I believe that that's the #4 of Ted Hairfield beside the #90.

Standard practice back in the day.

Some races would have two or three race cars show up with the same #.

If more than one race car with same # shows up for race. The race car # with the highest (track/series)points would get to used his # for the race. The other race car/cars would have to put (#0/#1) in white chalk/white shoe polish paint in (front or behind) their #.

Example: Ted Hairfield #4, had to used white chalk/white shoe polish paint #1 behind #4 to be enter as #41 for the Trenton Speedway race.

Example: Martinsville Speedway race, car owner Jack Tant enter two Flying 11(old style modified/sportsman) with Ray Hendrick and (new style modified/sportsman) with Bobby Allison.

Ray Hendrick used the Flying 11#.

Bobby Allison's pitcrewman used the white chalk/white shoe polish paint #0 over the Flying 11# to make it Flying 01#. It wasn't an good paint job with the faded painted #0 paint job. There are photos that shows /look like two Flying 11 race cars are racing each other?

Bobby Allison in faded paint job #0/Flying 01(new style modified/sportsman) won the 1967 100 laps Modified race at Martinsville Speedway.
