They got Mr. O'Reilly's first name wrong. Should be Don. he was the father of the talented,late motorsports photographer for whom the prestigious National Motorsports Press Association Howard O'Reilly Award is named.

France later hired Don O'Reilly as Director of the NASCAR News Bureau, a position he resigned in Dec. 1956 to devote his time to a nationally syndicated auto racing column. Later O'Reilly would write for the Daytona paper.
