Actually, this was from the huge pile-up they had at Talladega in 1973...it pretty much ended Wendell's career and took him years to pay off this car...really sad

This was a sad way to basically end Wendell's career. There is nobody I respect more that raced in Nascar than Wendell. Everybody talks about Jackie Robinson they need to look at what Wendell had to endure.
