was this the dogwood 500 of 1976? in that race morgan shepherd took the lead when dale ran out of gas in the final three laps, only to lose when ottinger used eight wheels instead of four in turn one.

Jack Bland ran at my home track of Beltsville Md. and Manasas Va. Jack won several track championships at Beltsville in bothe LMS and limited sportsman division. Just soem great memories! Jack won one of Classics at Martinsville!
