Raleigh, NC – On a night filled with many firsts, Jordan Anderson from Forest Acres, South Carolina claimed both his first Super Late Model pole, led wire to wire, and went on to capture his first win at the high banked Southern National Motorsport Park located in Kenly, NC.

A strong field of cars greeted those in attendance for the track’s highly promoted Fan Appreciation night where a $5,000 purse was up for grabs among competitors. After making the trek from their shop in Mooresville, NC to compete at the track just two weeks ago only to be met by a rain out, Jordan Anderson and teammate Jeff Fultz returned to the speedway for Saturday nights 150 lap race.

After posting a top 3 time in practice a day earlier, Anderson and his crew felt confident about their chances of laying down a good qualifying lap on a night where track position would be key to a good finish. The order in which drivers went out for qualifying was set by a random pill draw and after a reach into the bag, a number 1 was chosen – meaning that the Forest Acres sponsored car would roll out first for qualifying. As Anderson pulled onto the track and proceeded to circle the 4/10 mile track as fast as possible, a lap of 15.853 was logged into the books. After waiting out all of the other competitors to make their runs, an ecstatic Anderson let out a sigh of relief when the last driver took the checkered flag and his #19 was still on the top of the leader board.
