Because I've been spending much time these last few days working on a special surprise for all of you, which will be unveiled soon, I'm giving the stage for this one to the Lady in Black... minus ten years.

What follows appeared on the pages of a site called Maclouridees.com following the Bristol night race of ten years ago. Like the last one, this is Vintage LIB, before most of you even knew she or I existed.

Good day race fans. This is your raving reporter, The Lady in Black, reporting from underneath the big red trailer at Bristol Motor Speedway, in the aftermath of the war waged here on Saturday night. I've decided to stay right here until the NASCAR Mafia is through slapping wrists. If we're lucky, they'll be done in time for Darlington, the track they named after me.
