That wreck happened right in front of my seat in the stands!........'64 Southern 500, Junior spun off of turn 2 and little Bud nailed him. Being it was 1964, did Junior's car have a fuel cell? If not, It's a miracle that fire was not involved. 1964 Ford's gas tank was right at the rear bumper.
